A Qualitative Leap in the Modernization Path of the Court of Accounts -The Digital Workflow System Project: Towards Strengthening Institutional Transformation and Digital Governance

In a step reflecting the Court of Accounts' commitment to keeping pace with the requirements of modern administration, the Court continues, within the framework of the development vision adopted since First President Judge Mohamad Badran assumed his duties, its path of modernization and strengthening of its institutional capacities, despite the challenges facing institutional work.

The Court of Accounts today witnessed an important occasion for the presentation of the digital workflow system project set to be adopted at the Court, under the patronage and guidance of First President Judge Mohamad Badran, and in the presence of the Court's judges and staff, the President of the Central Inspection Judge Georges Attieh, the President of the Civil Service Board Mrs. Nisrine Machmouchi, and representatives of the European Union and the "Reform of the Public Administration" (RAP) project funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France, along with a number of figures concerned with administrative and oversight affairs.

During the occasion, the main stages of the project's development were reviewed. The project is considered one of the key initiatives aimed at modernizing working mechanisms and enhancing digital transformation within the Court of Accounts, paving the way for its official adoption in the coming phases.

The First President of the Court of Accounts, Judge Mohamad Badran, affirmed that the path of development and modernization constitutes a firm choice for the Court despite the existing challenges, stressing the importance of keeping pace with the requirements of modern administration and enhancing institutional efficiency, thereby contributing to improving audit performance and consolidating the Court's role in protecting public funds and serving the public interest.
